Murchison falls national park is located in masindi approximately 320km from kampala the capital of Uganda. Murchison falls national park is Uganda’s largest national park. It measures approximately 3840 square kilometers . also the park is adjacent to the masindi –gulu highway are the karuma falls. The park is bisected by the Victoria nile from the east to west for a distance of about 115kilometers. Ers The park is the location of the Murchison falls, where the wallsters of the majestic nile river squeezes through a narrow gorge on 7 meters wide, before plunging 141ft below. Regular visitors to the river banks include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes while hippos, crocodiles and aquatic birds are permanent residents.
