Uganda

Uganda is A landlocked country in Eastern Africa, west of Kenya and east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (former Zaire), Uganda has an area of 236,040 square kilometers (146,675 square miles) and a total land boundary of 2,698 kilometers (1,676 miles). Uganda carries a population of over 47 million people.

6.Lake Mburo National Park

Health

Make sure that your yellow fever vaccination is up to date before arriving in uganda. Visitors can bring their personal supplies of medicine that may be needed for use.

Other health precautions;

HIV/AIDS is widespread. Vaccinations against tuberculosis and hepatitis b are sometimes advised. Malaria is one of the most serious health concerns for travelers visiting uganda, travellers are advised to carry anti malaria tablets.

Health Insurance

Medical facilities in Uganda are limited. Help at the scene of an accident is likely to be limited. Make sure your health insurance plan provides coverage overseas, we also recommend supplemental insurance to cover medical evacuation

Visa

Nationals of the countries listed below are exempted from visa requirements for travel to Uganda. They do however need to carry current passport issued by their respective countries. Members of COMESA Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania, Malawi, Eritrea, Madagascar, Rwanda, Lesotho, Malta, Sierra leone. Ugandan visa can be obtained at the Ugandan Mission abroad. Every visitor should carry a passport valid beyond 6 months. Visitors should not stay beyond there visa validity others will be subjected to a 30$ fine per day and other legal actions.
